Correctly Replacing Carbon Composite Resistive Pogo-Pin Tips<br />
in Dxx05-PT<br />
Keep the following in mind regarding Pogo Pin tips replacement, care, and use.<br />
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:<br />
� The Pogo-Pin Tip pair must have a matched resistive value. If one breaks, and the<br />
replacement has a different resistive value (likely if they are from different lots), then the<br />
pair must be replaced (see the following Setting Matched Replacement Pogo-Pin Tip Ω<br />
Values Using the Dxx05-PT Pogo-Pin Replacement Software Utility section for details).<br />
� Don't remove your Pogo Pin tips from the socket for non-use or storage. Only remove<br />
them when replacement is necessary.<br />
� Never use probe tips as scraping tools.<br />
� New carbon fiber tip technology enables low-loading, high-bandwidth measurements. Do<br />
not over compress.<br />
� When applying probe to test points only use light pressure. Take care not to apply<br />
pressure exceeding throw of precision pogos.<br />
