It’s well worth the wait to participate in successive editions of
these cyclical events as they guarantee an extremely high calibre
of performance. It’s important to realise, that cultural events
in the Metropolis are available on a daily basis – with theatre
productions covering all genres at the Stanisław Wyspiański Silesian
Heritage Route – including the Historic “Guido” Coalmine
in Zabrze, the Brewing Museum in tychy, the Gliwice Radio
Station and the Central Fire Service Museum in Mysłowice.
these museums are the pride of our region, and unique in the
whole of europe, in terms of industrial heritage.
The sheer volume and diversity of cultural events in the Metropolis
corresponds to the diversity of the cultural tastes of the
area’s inhabitants and visitors. Culture forms an integral element
of life in this enormous metropolis, satiates its needs and shapes
its image. Delving into the cultural life of an area, is the fastest
and most pleasant way in which to be introduced to the uniqueness,
character and atmosphere of the city.
experience the Upper Silesian Metropolis through its culture.
