& Country 4-H Club have planned a
project to add a little cash to their
treasury They will have a yard sale
at the home of their leader,
Lafrenda Fitzgerald, Saturday Sept.
11 The Fitzgeralds live at 1103
Penniman Avenue.
This will not be a run-of-the-mill
yard sale.
They will be offering for sale a
pair of chickens, a pair of ducks, an
extra duck, rabbits and some geese
Lemonade and baked goods,
prepared by the club members, will
be available. Sharon Fitzgerald is
going to bake some loaves of the
bread that earned her a first at the
4-FTFair Her brother, Scott, will
have some of the honey from his
hive of bees.

in Whitehouse, Ohio Oct. 22-24.
At this campout, the r^ien cook up a
thanksgiving feast to j close out the

• DELTA ZETA SORORITY
Sept. 9 — Western Wayne Alumnae
of Delta Zeta sorority will open their
fall schedule with a dinner meeting at
6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at
the home of Cathy Williams at 37685
Knoll Dr. in Wayne. The theme will be
"French Night" featuring an open
quiche and salad bar, Each member
will will be asked to furnish one food
item as well as table service, dues and
used greeting cards for a service
project.
Meetings this yea will be held
monthly on alternate Wednesdays and
Thursdays and all Delta Zeta alumnae
are urged to join. Call Cathy Williams

• NEW MOTHERS CLASS
Sept. 22 - Childbirth and Family
Resources is offering a four-week class
for mothers of infants to 1 year of age
from 1-3 p.m. Topics include nutrition,
language developent, toys for babies,
parent as teacher, pi renting and mar-
riage. Cost is $15. For more information

• QUILT SHOW
Sept. 23 -24 — The Northville Community
Quilters presents "Your Heirloom
and Mine Quilt Show" from 10
a.m. to 8 p.m. It will be held at the
First Presbyterian Church of Norhtville,
200 East Main St. Northville. The
donation at the door is $1.
The show will feature a variety of
quilts dating from 1820 to the present.
Quilting will be demonstrated throughout
the show and some quilts will be for
sale. In addition to the show, a depression
glass display will be featured in
the library. Light refreshments will be
available. A mixed weaving show will
be presented by the Mill Race Hand
Weaver's. Guld, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• MAKE-UP ARTIST
Oct. 6 — An evening with Jeffrey
Bruce, a New York make up artist will
be presented by the Canton Newcomers
at 7 p.m. A $6 admission fee will include
