A course for Offi cials was held alongside the competition.
More activities are scheduled for next year.
Lithuania was represented by an Individual rider at the HSBC
FEI World Cup Eventing Final in Poland and at the HSBC
FEI European Championships. A technical visit was made in
November 2009 for new FEI 1* and 2* events in 2010.
Belarus hosted its fi rst ever HSBC FEI World Cup Eventing
qualifi er in Minsk this year. Moreover, a team participated
in the FEI European Championships for Young Riders in
Germany fi nishing 5 th .
Estonia was unable to run the events scheduled this year due
to lack of local sponsorship. They have been postponed to
2010.

In 2009, South Africa held its fi rst ever CCI*** and as a
result, qualifi ed a team for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian
Games in 2010. Namibia has shown a real interest in
running horse trials again. A course designer from South
Africa went to Namibia to give a seminar to the Eventing
community in view of developing the discipline. The NAM
NF ran a lower level event in October and hope to put on
a CCI* in 2010. Contacts have been made with the Kenyan
Federation and it is planned to run a course build/design
seminar in 2010. Swaziland ran their fi rst FEI class this year.
