Shop and office building complete Basel’s wide body hangar
Since the inauguration on May 16, 2008,
all shop and office building construction
adjacent to the new wide body hangar at
Jet Aviation Basel has now been completed.
This includes sheet metal, composite,
avionics and component repair shops as
well as a part of the company’s engineering
and interior design departments,
administrative and client offices.
In the past few weeks, the various departments
moved into their new facilities,
making the new wide body hangar fully
operational. They will be assisting the
different product lines associated with
narrow and wide body aircraft completions
projects.
“With the new hangar we are now able to
integrate all of our narrow and wide body
completions services in one location,”
says André Wall, Jet Aviation’s COO for
EMEA & Asia. “Having all services
together in one building makes the daily
workflow and processes much more efficient,”
