Savepoint Mode property<br />

Description<br />

Specifies whether <strong>Form</strong> <strong>Builder</strong> should issue savepoints during a session. This property is included<br />

primarily for applications that will run against non-ORACLE data sources. For applications that will run<br />

against ORACLE, use the default setting.<br />

The following table describes the settings for this property:<br />

Setting Description<br />

Yes (the default) Specifies that <strong>Form</strong> <strong>Builder</strong> should issue a savepoint at form<br />

startup and at the start of each Post and Commit process.<br />

No Specifies that <strong>Form</strong> <strong>Builder</strong> is to issue no savepoints, and<br />

that no rollbacks to savepoints are to be performed.<br />

Savepoint Mode restrictions<br />

When Savepoint Mode is No, <strong>Form</strong> <strong>Builder</strong> does not allow a form that has uncommitted changes to<br />

invoke another form with the CALL_FORM procedure.
