OLE Popup Menu Items property<br />

Description<br />

Determines which OLE popup menu commands are displayed and enabled when the mouse cursor is on<br />

the OLE object and and the right mouse button is pressed. The OLE popup menu commands manipulate<br />

OLE objects. OLE popup menu commands and their actions include:<br />

CUT Cuts an OLE object and places the content on the<br />

clipboard.<br />

COPY Copies an OLE object and places the content on<br />

the clipboard.<br />

PASTE Pastes the content from the clipboard to an OLE<br />

container.<br />

PASTE SPECIAL Pastes an OLE object from the clipboard to an<br />

OLE container in a format other than the original<br />

format.<br />

INSERT OBJECT Inserts an OLE object in an OLE container.<br />

DELETE OBJECT Deletes an OLE object from an OLE container.<br />

LINKS Invokes a dialog that has settings to determine how<br />

links are updated, edit linked source files, and<br />

change links from one source file to another source<br />

file.<br />

OBJECT Depending on the OLE server, it is possible to<br />

perform various operations on an OLE object.<br />

Some examples include opening an OLE object,<br />

editing an OLE object, and converting an OLE<br />

object from one format to another.<br />
