Status (Record) property Description Specifies the current status of the indicated record. Record status can be New, Changed, Query, or Insert. You can also examine the status of the current record in the form with the SYSTEM.RECORD_STATUS system variable. In general, any assignment to a database item will change a record’s status from QUERY to CHANGED (or from NEW to INSERT), even if the value being assigned is the same as the previous value.
