Day 1: From your local joining point we make our
way to Stretton, via Derbyshire and the Cat and
Fiddle Pass, arriving late afternoon.
Day 2: Today we make our way to Tatton Park,
which provides a glorious parkland setting for the
magnificent RHS Flower Show. The unique blend of
innovative and imaginative show gardens, floral
marquees, practical ideas and vibrate displays
makes for a perfect gardening experience in the
grounds of the regions grandest Georgian Mansion.
Day 3: After breakfast we visit Trentham Italian
Gardens. This 750 acre garden has undertaken a
£100 million restoration of its Capability Brown
parkland and Sir Charles Barry Italian Gardens. Enjoy
the calm and colourful surroundings of one of the
most important historical gardens in Britain. After a
leisurely day we make our way back to Norfolk.

Itinerary
Day 1: From your local joining point we make our
way to Stretton, via Derbyshire and the Cat and
Fiddle Pass, arriving late afternoon.
Day 2: This morning we make our way to
Seacombe on the Wirral. We join the Mersey Ferries
Ship for a fascinating 6 hour leisurely cruise, the
whole length of the Manchester Ship Canal. The
cruise takes in spectacular scenery leaving
passengers with a awe inspiring sense of how its
construction shaped forever the City of Manchester
and the North West of England. The 35 mile cruise
includes a live commentary and provides a revealing
insight into the history of one of Britain’s most
important waterways. Refreshments and snacks are
available onboard. On arrival at Salford Quays, our
coach is waiting to collect us and return us to the
hotel.
Day 3: After breakfast we make our way back to
Norfolk with suitable stops en route to your local
drop-off point.

The Great Dorset
Steam Fair

Itinerary
Day 1: After joining our coach we take a leisurely
drive to Winchester. After some free time we
continue to our hotel in Bournemouth for 2 nights
dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 2: Today we visit the Great Dorset Steam Fair,
held in the showground near Blandford Forum, in
the heart of the beautiful Dorset countryside. There
are around 200 working steam engines on show
and 2000 other working exhibits, including a steamdriven
funfair. Vintage, veteran and classic cars,
lorries, military vehicles, tractors and motorcycles
are represented alongside 500 trade stands,
numerous food stalls and live music. You will be
amazed at the variety of exhibitions and the sheer
scale of the show.
Day 3: Departing from Bournemouth after breakfast
we journey to Windsor before continuing to Norfolk
to your local drop-off point.

The Wessex Hotel is situated in its own
grounds on the prestigious West Cliff of
Bournemouth and is only five minutes from
the town centre. All rooms have TV, radio,
direct dial telephone, hairdryer, together with
tea and coffee making facilities. The leisure
club boasts both indoor and outdoor heated
pools, steam room and sauna and
gymnasium. Lift access to all floors.
