Itinerary
Day 1: From your local joining point we head to
Capel Manor Gardens, an estate surrounding a
Georgian Manor house and Victorian Stables. The
gardens are broadly divided into 5 zones, including
historic landscapes, themed and model gardens
which have been relocated from previous Chelsea
Flower Shows. Later, we continue into London for
our overnight stay at the London Hilton Docklands
Hotel.
Day 2: Today we enjoy a full day at Chelsea Flower
Show. Set in the grounds of the Royal Chelsea
Hospital you can marvel at some of the finest
collections of flowers in the world and visit the great
pavilion that hosts thousands of flowers and plants.
Later, we make our way back to Norfolk to your local
drop off point.

On the south bank of the River Thames with
stunning views across to Canary Wharf, the
Hilton London Docklands Hotel is superbly
located for our short break to the capital.
From one of the 365 beautifully appointed
bedrooms combined with, an 18th century
sailing barque resting in one of London's only
dry docks, it is easy to forget that you are
only minutes away from the City of London.
The hotel boasts swimming pool, sauna, spa,
steam room and a fully equipped gym. There
is also a restaurant, coffee shop and bar in
which to relax in. All well-appointed
bedrooms are en suite with TV and tea/coffee
making facilities. The hotel has a lift.

The Hilton Dartford Bridge is a purpose-built
Hotel close to both Bluewater and Lakeside

Day 1: From your local joining point we make our
way into central London. We'll drop you at a suitable
vantage point overlooking the Thames, such as
Battersea Park, Jubilee Gardens or in front of The
Tower of London, in good time for the afternoon's
events. Enjoy the amazing spectacle as an
impressive flotilla of up to 1000 boats brings the
Thames to life in a parade of music, fountain and
firework displays as a floating belfry with chiming
bells calls out for answers from the steeples of the
riverside churches.
Day 2: After a leisurely breakfast we head for
Greenwich for some free time. During Jubilee year
Greenwich will be become a London Royal Borough.
Explore the Old Naval College, visit the National
Maritime Museum or take a stroll through the park
to the Royal Observatory (Entry not included) After
lunch we take a boat trip along the River Thames
from Greenwich to Waterloo Pier, the 75 minute one
way trip passes many famous landmarks and
includes a commentary. The coach will be waiting to
collect you and return you back to your hotel.
Day 3: After an early breakfast, we return to central
London for a final day of celebrations. We'll drop you
as near to The Mall as possible, so that you can join
the crowds to see The Queen and other members of
the Royal Family make their way from Buckingham
Palace to St Paul's Cathedral for a Service of
Thanksgiving. After the service the majestic carriage
procession will return to Buckingham Palace before
- who knows - maybe even an appearance on that
famous balcony! Later this afternoon we make our
way back to Norfolk.

Itinerary
Day 1: From your local joining point we head north,
making a brief stop at the World Heritage City of
Durham. Highlights include the Cathedral and
Castle, which tower over the city and river. We then
continue to our hotel for our two-night stay.
Day 2: A full day at the award-winning Beamish.
Take the tram and travel back in time to 1913,
experience the transport, town, shops, houses and
farm, all with costumed staff to authentically
recreate the scene. You can visit a drift coalmine &
look at life in 1825 by taking the Pockerley railway
to the manor.
Day 3: This morning we join the Catherine Cookson
trail, a fascinating guided tour of South Tyneside
showing us the areas associated with the life of
Britain’s most popular author. We pass the site of
Cooksons birthplace, former home, and places of
work and worship. After lunch we return to Norfolk
and your local joining point.
