Itinerary
Day 1: You will be picked up from
home by our door to door service, and
taken to the coach for the journey
south west to Devon, reaching the
hotel in plenty of time to settle in
before dinner.
Day 2: Full day excursion across the
wilds of Dartmoor, keeping watch for
the famous ponies, as we pass
through some of the prettiest villages
in Britain. We continue to the pretty
town of Tavistock, with its lively
pannier market and unique local
shops.
Day 3: Day at leisure.
Day 4: Today’s excursion take us to
maritime Plymouth, with free time to
explore this historical city and maybe
take a stroll along the magnificent
area overlooking the sea called ‘the
Hoe’. Our return journey takes us to
Buckfast Abbey.
Day 5: After breakfast we depart
Torquay for our return journey back to
Norfolk where our door to door service
will be waiting to take you home.

Weymouth
& The Dorset Coast

Itinerary
Day 1: Following your home pickup
we make our way to Weymouth,
arriving late afternoon at the Prince
Regent Hotel.
Day 2: A free day to relax and explore
Weymouth.
Day 3: Dorchester, the county town of
Dorset, is our destination this
morning. The town is the fictional
‘Casterbridge’ of Hardy’s novels. After
free time here, we head off west to
Lyme Regis – The Cobb featured in
the film French Lietenant’s Woman,
starring Meryl Streep. We make our
way back to Weymouth along the
coast road through Abbotsbury, home
of the Swannery.
Day 4: Our first visit today is to
Maritime Poole, a delightful town with
its historic quayside, shops and
famous pottery. We spend the

morning here. Later we travel round
Poole Harbour, and crossing by the
Sandbanks Ferry to the Isle of
Purbeck and the charming resort of
Swanage. Here we have time to
explore before we make our way back
to the hotel.
Day 5: After breakfast we make our
way back to Norfolk with suitable
stops en route, where our door to door
service will be waiting to take you
home.

Located on Weymouth’s attractive seafront, and only a few minutes
walk from the bustling town centre, this wonderful hotel provides an
ideal base for this tour. All bedrooms are en suite and feature TV,
