Itinerary
Day 1: You will be picked up from
home by our door to door service and
taken to meet the coach for our
departure south to Eastbourne.
Day 2: Today we visit Rye with its
quaint charm of the 18th century
cobbled streets and breathtaking
views of Romney Marsh. This
afternoon we visit Great Dixter House
& Gardens- the family home of the
late Christopher Lloyd, who devoted
his lifetime to creating one of the
most experimental, exciting and
constantly changing gardens of our
time. Incorporating many medieval
buildings, the gardens surround the
house, each complement the other.
Day 3: This morning we go via
Beachy Head to the Regency resort of
Brighton. Later we return to our hotel
via the picturesque village of Alfriston
Day 4: A day at leisure to relax and
explore your surroundings, maybe
take a walk along the lovely
promenade gardens, stroll to the end
of the nearby pier or visit the modern
shopping centre.
Day 5: After breakfast, sadly we make
our way back to Norfolk, where our
door to door service will be waiting to
take you home.

Llandudno
Itinerary
Day 1: Our door to door service
ensures a trouble free departure as
we make our way across country to
Llandudno.
Day 2: Day at leisure in Llandudno.
Day 3: This morning we cross the
Menai Straits to the Isle of Anglesey.
We visit the historic town of
Beaumaris with its medieval castle
dating back to the reign of Edward I
and its Victorian Pier, Gaol and Court
House. We then stop for lunch at
Lanfair PG, shortened from the 58
letter longest named village in Britain.
This afternoon we visit Plas-Newydd,
situated on the banks of the Menai
Strait and home to the Marquess of
Anglesey. This 18th century house,
commands spectacular views of
Snowdonia, the Military Museum, and
of course, the lovely gardens with
colour all year round.
Day 4: A full day tour to the historic
city of Chester. The city’s heritage is
truly inspiring and includes a host of
great treasures from the past and
boasts the best preserved city wall in
England. Visit the splendid cathedral
and browse among the two tiered

galleries of shops dating from the
middle ages.
Day 5: Today we head into the
Snowdonia National park to the town
of Llanberis. We pay a visit to the
Electric Mountain where we will enjoy
a fully guided tour around Dinorwig
Power Station. This starts with a
sound and vision spectacular at
Electric Mountain. An expedition bus
will then transport you to the power
station itself. Descending deep inside
the ancient Elidir mountain’s labyrinth
of dark and imposing tunnels, you’ll
experience one of man’s greatest
engineering achievements.
Day 6: This morning we head along
the Vale of Conwy to pretty Betws-ycoed.
The town nestles among the
hills of the Gwydyr Forest in a valley
where three rivers flow and tumble
down to the town over sparkling
waterfalls. Afternoon at leisure in
Llandudno
Day 7: Free day.
Day 8: After breakfast we reluctantly
have to leave Llandudno and head
across country, arriving home mid
evening for our door to door service.
