Delta DF File The name of the delta.df file that<br />

was created when you ran the<br />

incremental dump routine against two<br />

<strong>OpenEdge</strong> databases. You can<br />

browse <strong>for</strong> the file name by choosing<br />

the Files button.<br />

Schema Holder <strong>Data</strong>base The name of the schema holder. The<br />

schema in<strong>for</strong>mation must match the<br />

schema of the MS <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong><br />

database to be updated. Progress<br />

Software Corporation recommends<br />

that you are connected to the schema<br />

holder.<br />

Connect parameters <strong>for</strong> Schema Specify these parameters to connect<br />

to the schema holder if you are not<br />

already connected.<br />

Logical name <strong>for</strong> MSS <strong>Data</strong>base Specify the MS <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> database<br />

logical name, that is, the name by<br />

which you refer to the MS <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong><br />

database in your application.<br />

MSS Object Owner Name Specify the name of the MSS<br />

database object owner.<br />

Maximum Varchar Length By default, the maximum size of the<br />

VARCHAR data type is 8000. The text<br />

data type is greater than 8000. If you<br />

enter a value that is less than 8000,<br />

the text data type will be used when<br />

a character field display <strong>for</strong>mat or<br />

width is greater than the value you<br />

have entered.<br />

Create RECID field Leave this check box selected to<br />

obtain the cursor scrolling capability.<br />

Include Default Select this check box if you want the<br />

<strong>OpenEdge</strong> initial value used as the<br />

default <strong>SQL</strong> script.<br />

Create Shadow Columns MS <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> is case insensitive by<br />

default, and this box is unmodifiable.<br />

When <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> is configured with a<br />

case sensitive code page, this box is<br />

available <strong>for</strong> selection. Selecting it<br />

provides case insensitivity compatible<br />

with the behavior of an <strong>OpenEdge</strong><br />

database.<br />
