<strong>Data</strong><strong>Server</strong> demonstration databases<br />

As part of the <strong>Data</strong><strong>Server</strong> product, Progress Software Corporation provides you with<br />

the ability to create demonstration data that you can use to experiment with the<br />

<strong>Data</strong><strong>Server</strong>. Note that you do not install the demonstration databases as part of the<br />

<strong>OpenEdge</strong> Installation media. Instead, you create them by running the <strong>OpenEdge</strong> DB<br />

to MS <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> utility, which migrates the Sports database—objects and data—to<br />

your MS <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> data source. For instructions, see the “Demonstration databases<br />

<strong>for</strong> <strong>Data</strong><strong>Server</strong> <strong>for</strong> MS <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong>” section on page 251.<br />
