2.4.3 Concentration: Media and Graphic Communication (36 Credits)<br />

The Media and Graphic Communication concentration educates students to be<br />

designers who make valuable contributions to their professions, communicate<br />

effectively, ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong> a lifelong attitude of <strong>in</strong>quiry, and make a positive impact on<br />

society. Programs, faculty, and students form an <strong>in</strong>quisitive and dynamic<br />

educational community <strong>in</strong> which creativity, critical th<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g, <strong>in</strong>novative problem<br />

solv<strong>in</strong>g, aesthetic understand<strong>in</strong>g, cross-discipl<strong>in</strong>ary study, professionalism, and<br />

social responsibility are explored, cultivated, and promoted.<br />

2.4.4 Concentration: Public Policy (36 Credits)<br />

The public policy program explores the <strong>in</strong>tersection of public policy, technology, and<br />

our natural world. The program provides students with an opportunity to <strong>in</strong>tegrate<br />

their <strong>in</strong>terests <strong>in</strong> science, technology, government, economics, and other social<br />

science fields. The concentration comb<strong>in</strong>es an understand<strong>in</strong>g of these fields with the<br />

analytical tools needed to study the impact of public policy on society. Through the<br />
