3. INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR: Unreasonable disruption or obstruction of<br />
teach<strong>in</strong>g, research, adm<strong>in</strong>istration, discipl<strong>in</strong>ary proceed<strong>in</strong>gs, or other<br />
<strong>University</strong> activities.<br />
4. HARASSMENT: Abuse, threats, <strong>in</strong>timidation, assault, coercion and/or<br />
conduct, by physical, verbal, signed, written, photographic or electronic<br />
means, which threatens or endangers any person on <strong>AUK</strong> premises or at<br />
<strong>University</strong> sponsored or supervised functions.<br />
5. SEXUAL MISCONDUCT: All forms of sexual misconduct, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g any<br />
form of unwanted sexual contact. "Unwanted" is def<strong>in</strong>ed as be<strong>in</strong>g aga<strong>in</strong>st a<br />
person's wishes or without consent, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g those <strong>in</strong>stances <strong>in</strong> which the<br />
<strong>in</strong>dividual is unable to give consent because of unconsciousness, sleep,<br />
impairment, or <strong>in</strong>toxication due to alcohol or other drugs.<br />
6. THEFT/VANDALISM: Attempted or actual theft of, damage to, or<br />
unauthorized possession or alteration of either <strong>AUK</strong> property, or the property<br />
of a member of the <strong>University</strong> community or other personal or public<br />
property.<br />
7. FAILURE TO COMPLY: Failure to comply with directions of <strong>AUK</strong> officials<br />
or law enforcement officers act<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> performance of their duties; obstruction<br />
of the performance of these duties or failure to identify oneself to these<br />
persons when requested to do so.<br />
8. VIOLATION OF <strong>AUK</strong> POLICIES: Violation of published <strong>AUK</strong> policies,<br />
rules, and regulations <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g, but not limited to, the Student Bill of Rights,<br />
the Policy Prohibit<strong>in</strong>g Discrim<strong>in</strong>ation and Harassment, the Alcohol and Drug<br />
Policy, Park<strong>in</strong>g and Traffic Regulations, the Code of Conduct for Computer<br />
and Network Use, <strong>Academic</strong> Regulations, the Policy on <strong>Academic</strong><br />
Dishonesty, the Smok<strong>in</strong>g Policy, and other published <strong>University</strong> policies,<br />
rules and regulations <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g those related to entry <strong>in</strong>to and/or use of<br />
<strong>University</strong> rooms, build<strong>in</strong>gs, and facilities.<br />
9. OFF-CAMPUS BEHAVIOR: Any off-campus conduct which <strong>AUK</strong> deems<br />
demonstrates disregard for the rights of others.<br />
10. HAZING: Haz<strong>in</strong>g is def<strong>in</strong>ed as any action or situation which recklessly or<br />
<strong>in</strong>tentionally endangers physical or mental health, or <strong>in</strong>volves the forced<br />
consumption of alcohol or drugs for the purpose of <strong>in</strong>itiation <strong>in</strong>to or<br />
affiliation with any organization, as well as any action <strong>in</strong>tended to subject a<br />
member of the <strong>AUK</strong> community to emotional or physical harm.<br />
