2.10 Libraries<br />
2.10.1 Irw<strong>in</strong> Metzger Memorial Library<br />
The beautiful Irw<strong>in</strong> Metzger Memorial Library was made possible through a<br />
series of significant grants from the United States Embassy <strong>in</strong> Prisht<strong>in</strong>a,<br />
<strong>Kosovo</strong>. The library opened on February 21, 2007 and underwent renovations<br />
to significantly enlarge the space <strong>in</strong> the spr<strong>in</strong>g of 2009.<br />
The library is a uniquely designed space, provid<strong>in</strong>g a quiet study room, a<br />
casual read<strong>in</strong>g space, and a glass enclosed group study area- all <strong>in</strong> an<br />
attractive environment, conducive to study.<br />

2.10.2 RIT Wally Library<br />
The Rochester Institute of Technology is known for the high quality of its<br />
library resources. Its complete, on-l<strong>in</strong>e capability is available to <strong>AUK</strong><br />
students. Through your RIT account, you can search for books, articles, and<br />
explore 217 databases at any time on the Internet – from home or school. The<br />
Wally Library mission is to support the <strong>in</strong>structional and research needs of all<br />
members of the RIT community. It is possible to get customized assistance for<br />
research strategy, selection, access<strong>in</strong>g, and us<strong>in</strong>g resources. Students can<br />
contact the Wally Library Coord<strong>in</strong>ator for Distance Learn<strong>in</strong>g at<br />
http://ill.rit.edu.<br />
2.11 Educational Records<br />
2.11.1 Confidentiality and Access<br />
Because our programs are provided and managed by RIT, their policy regard<strong>in</strong>g<br />
educational records is the controll<strong>in</strong>g one and is subject to the Buckley Amendment,<br />
(The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act or 1974). For a complete review of<br />

<strong>AUK</strong> students have the right to <strong>in</strong>spect, review and challenge the accuracy of their<br />
official educational records. Students are also accorded the right to receive a formal<br />
hear<strong>in</strong>g if dissatisfied with responses to questions regard<strong>in</strong>g the content of the<br />
