From Th e Glenlivet and Glenfi ddich to Th e Macallan, Speyside,
Scotland, boasts some of the country’s best-known single malts.
It’s also a beautiful part of the United Kingdom and a trip all
drinkers should make. Here are a few of our favoUrite spots to
visit in the area.

Glenfiddich, G
Dufftown:
Right R in the heart of Dufftown is the Glenfiddich
facility, f dating back to 1886. It offers three tours,
from f the free Classic Tour to the three-hour
Pioneers P Tour (£75 per person), which includes
filling f your own bottle of cask-strength whisky to
take t home. Just next door is its sister distillery, The
Balvenie, B that’s open to the public as well.
The T Macallan, Craigellachie:
The T famed distillery, with great views of the River
Spey, S is open five days a week (six from Easter
through t August) and gives two different tour
options. o The Experience Tour is an hour and 20
minutes m and limited to only 10 people, and The
Precious P Tour is two hours and 15 minutes and
features f a tasting of a range of Scotches.
Quaich Q Bar & The Whisky Bar, Craigellachie:
After A a long day on the whisky trail, we suggest
having h a final drink at either the Quaich Bar in
the t historic Craigellachie Hotel or The Whisky Bar
in i The Highlander Inn. Both stock hundreds of
bottlings b and have amazing selections of truly rare
spirits. s Fortunately, they’re also across the street
from f
one another.
