From Th e Glenlivet and Glenfi ddich to Th e Macallan, Speyside,<br />
Scotland, bo<strong>as</strong>ts some of the country’s <strong>be</strong>st-known <strong>single</strong> <strong>malt</strong>s.<br />
It’s also a <strong>be</strong>autiful part of the Un<strong>it</strong>ed Kingdom and a trip all<br />
drinkers <strong>should</strong> make. Here are a few of our favoUr<strong>it</strong>e spots to<br />
vis<strong>it</strong> in the area.<br />

Glenfiddich, G<br />
Dufftown:<br />
Right R in the heart of Dufftown is the Glenfiddich<br />
facil<strong>it</strong>y, f dating back to 1886. It offers three tours,<br />
from f the free Cl<strong>as</strong>sic Tour to the three-hour<br />
Pioneers P Tour (£75 per person), which includes<br />
filling f your own bottle of c<strong>as</strong>k-strength whisky to<br />
take t home. Just next door is <strong>it</strong>s sister distillery, The<br />
Balvenie, B that’s open to the public <strong>as</strong> well.<br />
The T Macallan, Craigellachie:<br />
The T famed distillery, w<strong>it</strong>h great views of the River<br />
Spey, S is open five days a week (six from E<strong>as</strong>ter<br />
through t August) and gives two different tour<br />
options. o The Experience Tour is an hour and 20<br />
minutes m and lim<strong>it</strong>ed to only 10 people, and The<br />
Precious P Tour is two hours and 15 minutes and<br />
features f a t<strong>as</strong>ting of a range of Scotches.<br />
Quaich Q Bar & The Whisky Bar, Craigellachie:<br />
After A a long day on the whisky trail, we suggest<br />
having h a final drink at e<strong>it</strong>her the Quaich Bar in<br />
the t historic Craigellachie Hotel or The Whisky Bar<br />
in i The Highlander Inn. Both stock hundreds of<br />
bottlings b and have amazing selections of truly rare<br />
spir<strong>it</strong>s. s Fortunately, they’re also across the street<br />
from f<br />
one another.
