Label is the flagship in the House of Walker. With its new and seriously iously
impressive packaging it will most definitely draw your attention. This
whisky means business. From the early 1990’s Johnnie Walker Blue Label
has showcased what those late 19th century whisky blends were all
about. Rich sweetness, somewhat peaty aromas with smooth, malty y
flavours!
There is what the ‘experts’ call a perfect serve for this whisky. It
really is a multi-layered dram. Firstly you have to slow down. This
approach needs to be one that savours and appreciates the nuances. .
Clean your palate with some ice cold water. Then wait… Take a
generous sip to coat the mouth, keep it there for a while, and as the e
liquid gently warms up on your palate you’ll know what I mean. Don’t t
forget to swallow.
You will notice the depth and layers of flavour this blend has to o
offer. As the tasting notes indicate - there’s a rich and uniquely long g
and satisfying finish of smoke, pepper, ending with a glorious touch h
of spice.
