Cocktails Mint Julep 81 Old Fashioned ingredients: 7.5g raw sugar syrup (one part raw sugar, one part water) 8 mint leaves 60ml bourbon method: In a Julep cup, lightly muddle the mint and syrup. Add the bourbon and pack tightly with crushed ice. Stir until the cup is frosted on the outside. Top with more crushed ice to form an ice dome and garnish Garnish: Mint sprig Glass: Julep 60 WHISKY EDITION November 2011 ingredients: 1 tsp simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water) 60ml bourbon 2 dashes Angostura Bitters 1 dash Orange Bitters method: Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass and fill with ice. 1870 Sour ingredients: 60ml 30ml lemon juice 7.5ml maple syrup 1 egg white 1 tsp blueberry jam 30ml Zinfandel wine method: Add all the ingredients except the wine to a shaker. Shake vigorously (without ice) for 10 seconds. Fill with ice and shake for an additional 15 seconds. Fine strain into a chilled 8-ounce Mason jar or a Bordeaux wine glass. Float the wine on top using a spoon. Glass: Mason jar or red wine glass After-Dinner Sazerac ingredients: Coffee liqueur 1 dash Angostura Bitters 1 sugar cube 60ml single malt whisky Method: Rinse a chilled Old Fashioned glass with coffee liqueur and set aside. In a mixing glass, muddle the bitters and sugar cube. Add the whisky and fill with ice. Stir, and strain into the prepared glass.
