MANUEL CARIZZA was one of the players that had an outstanding performance in the 2005 Junior World Cup
Mendoza. That performance gave him the chance to join the Pumas, and since his first appearance, he has always
been taken into account by the coaches. Manuel played for Biarritz Olympique and then he returned to his former
club, Jockey Club de Rosario. He is always a great option in the line-outs due to his height and good skills in air
balls. Manuel was part of the special training sessions for the 2007 Rugby World Cup, but unfortunately he was
not shortlisted for the final 30-men squad. In 2011, he played against French Barbarians and again showed his
great skills, which led him directly to New Zealand World Cup. During the Rugby Championship 2012 played all the
games as a starter second row.
