AGUSTÍN CREEvY, a former outstanding flanker, has recently changed his position to that of hooker, where he has
easily adapted and is now one of the most important hookers in Argentina. He was part of the U19 and U21 National
teams, and Argentina A. The Pumas’ coach, Santiago Phelan, was the one who encouraged him to make the change
of position from flanker to hooker, so he returned from Biarritz to San Luis club to make the change and proved
himself right. Agustín was able to show his skills in the French rugby: he played for Biarritz and then he returned
to Argentina, to his former club San Luis. Afterwards, he played for Clermont and last February signed a contract
with the French club Montpellier. Creevy won the Vodacom Cup with Pampas XV, in 2011, and that same year he
played his first World Cup, in New Zealand. This year suffered an injury at the beginning of the Rugby Championship
but he returned for the last games.
