The first time Juan had been appointed for the Senior National Team was for the South American Championship in
2009. With his supersonic speed, Juan was one of the revelations of the Pampas XV team which won the Vodacom
Cup this year. Imhoff played at Duendes Rugby Club in his home city of Rosario and moved to Racing Metro in 2011.
During 2009 and 2010, he was part of the Jaguars team and he also represented Argentina in the Sevens.
In the last game played by the Pumas in Argentina before the RWC 2011, JUAN IMHoFF demonstrated how
well-deserved his place in the final squad list is: he played very good rugby and scored three tries.
Then, he had the opportunity to show his ability and his velocity in RWC 2011.
