JUAN FIGALLo was first called for by the Pumas Head Coach Santiago Phelan to dispute the test match against
South Africa in August 2008. The prop made his debut in the U19 National Team in 2006 against Samoa. He took
his first steps in rugby at the Jockey Club in the province of Salta, and is currently in Montpellier with several other
Argentine players. Figallo is a very strong player and with a good height. In 2010, he played with the Pumas in June
and November, and this year he was part of the team against the French Barbarians and the team South America
Invitation.
During the World Cup 2007, Juan was only 17 years old, and he asked his father to go to France. His father answered
the will only go to a Rugby World Cup as a Puma. Four years later, “Chipi” reached his dream when he was
part of The Pumas in RWC 2011 and Rugby Championship in 2012.
