ning their confidence, esteem and cooper-
ation to such an extent that, under his
coaching, the school boys of Passaic have
won every game of basketball they have
School, through the mayor, reported to
the governor of New Jersey that A. A.
schools have had, and so pleased were
the citizens of Passaic with the achievements
of Mr. Marks in the training of
their boys that they presented him, in
1920, with a gold watch, appropriately
inscribed, the gold chain and basketball
fob for the chain being the gift of the
high school boys themselves. He married
Blanche Joan, and they have one
daughter, Margaret.
The Rev. Charles A. Marks is now rec-
