Requested Action:
Recommend approval of Resolution No. 10-12-666 to declare the attached list of District
property as surplus to District needs and authorize the General Manager to dispose of the
property in accordance w ith Resolution No. 11-04-488.

Memorandum
If approved, Resolution No. 10-12-666 w ould declare the attached list of property (Exhibit “ A” )
as surplus and authorize the General Manager to dispose of the property in accordance w ith the
procedures outlined in Resolution No. 11-04-488 (attached). Those procedures require the
General Manager to describe the property, determine their dollar value, and select the method
of disposal w hich w ill generate the best return for the District, including, giving first priority to
our Member Agencies to purchase the property, public auction, public sale, or selected bidders.
Property not sold or w ithout resale value may be disposed of in the most efficient manner,
including donations to member agencies, charity, local government entities, non-profit agencies
w hose activities are related to health, education, and/or the public w elfare.
