I. CLEANING<br />
During periodic maintenance of the<br />
projector, the transport mechanism should<br />
be removed and thoroughly cleaned. Brush<br />
or blow out all large particles of dirt.<br />
Wash all moving parts except oil impregnated<br />
bearings with any good petroleum<br />
solvent. Wash oil impregnated bearings<br />
and the pull-down cams with naptha. Wash<br />
the cam oilers in naptha and replace if not<br />
thoroughly cleaned by washing. As soon<br />
as parts have been washed and dried, coat<br />
with a light film of the specified lubricant.<br />

LUBRICATION CHART<br />
a - General Unless otherwise specified,<br />
apply one or two drops of oil (Shell<br />
Clavus No. 27) to all shafts, sleeve bearings<br />
and sliding parts before assembly. Place<br />
felt pads in a shallow container of specified<br />
oil until saturated; then allow to drain<br />
before installation.<br />
b. Lubrication of Specific Parts See<br />
the following table for lubrication of specific<br />
parts and lubricant to be used.<br />
