(b) Attendance at the <strong>NCAA</strong> Convention and at least one regional compliance seminar<br />

conducted by the <strong>NCAA</strong> or a member conference. Institutional representatives required to attend<br />

the <strong>NCAA</strong> Convention and regional compliance seminar are the president or chancellor (or an<br />

individual appointed by the president or chancellor with executive status at the institution), the<br />

director of athletics, the senior woman administrator, the faculty athletics representative and the<br />

compliance coordinator;<br />

(c) Engage in a compliance review conducted by the national office staff;<br />

(d) Process institutional and individual student-athlete violations of <strong>NCAA</strong> legislation through<br />

the <strong>NCAA</strong> enforcement and student-athlete reinstatement processes. The institution shall be<br />

subject to any and all sanctions for violations of <strong>NCAA</strong> legislation; and (Adopted: 1/8/07)<br />

(e) Submit an annual report and updated strategic plan by June 1 based on feedback from the<br />

previous year's plan. The institution shall report all violations to the Division I Management<br />

Council Membership Subcommittee as part of the annual report. (Revised: 1/8/07)<br />

20.3.1.5 Fourth Year. Effective Date: Aug 01, 2008<br />

During the fourth year of provisional membership, a provisional member shall satisfy the<br />

following requirements: (Revised: 5/8/06, 1/8/07 effective 8/1/07)<br />

(a) Attendance at a meeting conducted at the <strong>NCAA</strong> Convention to discuss issues impacting<br />

Division I members. Institutional representatives required to attend the meeting are the president<br />

or chancellor (or an individual appointed by the president or chancellor with executive status at<br />

the institution), the director of athletics, the senior woman administrator, the faculty athletics<br />

representative and the compliance coordinator;<br />

(b) Attendance at one regional compliance seminar conducted by the <strong>NCAA</strong> or a member<br />

conference. Institutional representatives required to attend the regional compliance seminar are<br />

the president or chancellor (or an individual appointed by the president or chancellor with<br />

executive status at the institution), the director of athletics, the senior woman administrator, the<br />

faculty athletics representative and the compliance coordinator;<br />

(c) Attendance by appropriate institutional representatives at the <strong>NCAA</strong> Gender Equity Issues<br />

Forum and an <strong>NCAA</strong> Diversity Workshop;<br />

(d) Completion of an <strong>NCAA</strong> certification orientation;<br />

(e) Process institutional and individual student-athlete violations of <strong>NCAA</strong> legislation through<br />

the <strong>NCAA</strong> enforcement and student-athlete reinstatement processes. The institution shall be<br />

subject to any and all sanctions for violations of <strong>NCAA</strong> legislation; and (Adopted: 1/8/07)<br />

plan. The institution shall report all violations to the Administration Cabinet as part of the<br />
