Features of the New Governance Structure • No Subcommittees. Bodies to work as a committee of the whole rather than subdivide. – Subcommittees must be set forth legislatively (except appellate bodies). • Administrative Committees. Bodies have discretion to establish an administrative committee to address interim actions. • Mailing Deadlines. Agendas and meeting materials shall be mailed and posted at least 17 days in advance of meetings.
Features of the New Governance Structure • Complete Mailings. Every effort shall be made to ensure meeting mailings are as complete as possible and the distribution of supplemental materials at meetings is kept to a minimum. • Report Format. Each cabinet will produce one report, for submission to both councils. Reports will distinguish between action items and information items and between legislative and non legislative items. • Report Deadlines. All reports shall be written and posted within three days of the scheduled conclusion of that meeting.
