Board of Directors (BOD) • Changes intended to aid the Board in: – Establishing working principles for the division; – Setting the divisional agenda; and – Examining broad policy initiatives. • Four meetings per year: August, October, April and January. • New – The Committee on Infractions and Infractions Appeals Committee will report to the Board. • James Barker, Clemson University, chair.
Division I Presidential Advisory Group (PAG) • PAG will remain intact. • PAG plays a valued role in advising the Board and in enhancing presidential communication. • 20-person advisory group representing all Division FCS/Div. I conferences. • Includes seven members of the Board of Directors. • Duties: • Advise the Board regarding the FCS/Division I perspective. • Enhance governance communication. • Two in-person meetings – October and April/two conference calls August and January . • Bruce Grube, President, Georgia Southern University, chair.
