Background: The cabinet will make decisions regarding how to manage its work and the
structure of its meetings.

c. Establishment of an Administrative Committee.

7. Discussion regarding membership issues. [Supplement No. 7] [No action anticipated.]
Background: The cabinet will discuss the flow of the membership process and will seek to
identify ways to enhance efficiencies.
8. Review of legislative proposals in the 2008-09 legislative cycle pertaining to governance,
committees or membership issues. [Supplement No. 8] [Action anticipated.]
Background: The cabinet will be asked to formulate positions and offer suggested
modifications regarding legislative proposals in the 2008-09 cycle.
9. Development of possible policies regarding the committee nomination process. [Supplement
No. 9] [Action anticipated.]
Background: The cabinet will discuss, and maybe decide, whether policies are needed to
guide the nomination process. The cabinet may work on developing those policies at this
meeting.
10. Understanding the Committee Selection Process. How to get ready for the February meeting.
[No action anticipated.]
Background: Working as a body of the whole, it is anticipated that at select meetings, the
cabinet will need to take a great deal of time to review committee nominations. The members
will discuss ideas regarding how to better prepare for the meetings and work as a body of the
whole.
