John Casey is the Director of International <strong>Benefits</strong> at Google, Inc. He handles the development<br />

and execution of global benefits strategy with a focus on infrastructure, wellness and innovation. He<br />

is Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.<br />

Jim Christenson, CEBS, Field Vice President, Allstate <strong>Benefits</strong>. Jim has been in the insurance<br />

industry for 26 years, 22 of those years in workplace insurance benefits, Section 125 and employee<br />

benefits communication. Jim obtained his Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation<br />

from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in the fall of 1998.<br />

Scott B. Clark is the Risk and <strong>Benefits</strong> Officer of the Office of Risk and <strong>Benefits</strong> Management for the<br />

Miami-Dade County School Board, the fourth largest school system in the nation with over 50,000<br />

employees and 340,000 students. Mr. Clark’s responsibilities include the oversight of the District’s<br />

Risk Management programs encompassing a budget with annual expenditures of approximately $400<br />

million.<br />

Benjamin J. Conley is an attorney in the Chicago office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. He focuses his<br />

practice on employee benefit plans. Mr. Conley has experience counseling clients on qualified<br />

retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation.<br />

Dr. James B. Couch, J.D., FACPE, for 30 years as a practicing physician, attorney and senior<br />

executive for leading health care, financial, legal and professional services organizations, has devoted<br />

his career to quality and patient safety, especially where the practices and principles of medicine,<br />

law, information technology, business and risk management merge. He co-authored an Electronic<br />

Greta E. Cowart focuses her practice in the area of employee benefits, health and welfare plans,<br />

executive compensation, and retirement plans. Ms. Cowart’s practice has included representing<br />

numerous clients before the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of Labor and the Center<br />

for Medicare and Medicaid Services as well as representing a large employer in a team audit of all of<br />

its employee benefit plans.<br />

Robert B. Davis is an employee benefits consultant specializing in employer-sponsored retirement<br />

and health and welfare benefit plans. In addition to advising clients on a range of compliance-related<br />

issues, he leads the Washington Rewards Policy Center of Excellence. The Center of Excellence<br />

publishes a weekly analysis of legal and regulatory developments relating to employee benefits for<br />

Deloitte practitioners and clients.<br />

Scott Decker recently joined Cambia Health Solutions where he leads the Consumer Transparency<br />

Business focused on developing the next generation of tools and solutions to help consumers<br />

become empowered purchasers of healthcare services. Previously Mr. Decker served for three years<br />

as President of NextGen <strong>Healthcare</strong>, a national leader in the development and delivery of electronic<br />

health records and financial systems.
