Dr. Bruce Rogen is the Chief Medical Officer for the Cleveland Clinic Employee Health Plan, and<br />
is board certified in internal medicine. After graduating from Brown University with a BA in biology<br />
he attended Tulane University Medical School, where he received both his MD and MPH degrees.<br />
Following a residency in general internal medicine at UCLA he settled in Los Angeles for the next<br />
fifteen years, working with Kaiser Permanente.<br />
Doug Rooker joined Purchasing Power in 2008 as VP of Sales, bringing over 15 years of experience<br />
in B2B marketing, sales and sales management. His solutions-oriented approach has made him very<br />
successful in the voluntary benefits industry as he is particularly skilled in assisting employers to build<br />
their internal brand with their employees, and align the needs of the organization with the needs of the<br />
employees. He earned a BBA from the University of Georgia.<br />
David Saltzman is a transformation strategist and thought leader with more than 30 years experience in<br />
the retail, wholesale, technology and administrative insurance arenas. He began his career in 1981with<br />
State Mutual Life Assurance Company of America as a producer and ultimately, a trainer and sales and<br />
brokerage manager. In 1984 he founded D.A. Saltzman & Associates, an agency focused on the corporate<br />
and executive markets.<br />
Domenic Salvato is the VP of National Accounts for Transamerica Employee <strong>Benefits</strong>, and is based in<br />
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Domenic graduated from the University of Delaware and has over a decade<br />
of experience in the insurance industry.<br />
Andrew Scibelli is Manager of Employee Health & Well-Being at NextEra Energy Inc. a Florida<br />
based company. His responsibilities are the strategic and overall management of a comprehensive<br />
companywide health and well-being program for employees and their families in 27 states with in<br />
the US. This includes on-site medical centers, exercise facilities, comprehensive health promotion<br />
programs, Nutrition and weight management services, and EAP.<br />
Michael Sedgwick is the Administrative Manager of the Palm Beach County Firefighters Employee<br />
<strong>Benefits</strong> Fund. The <strong>Benefits</strong> Fund is an independent Trust established in 1984 to provide insurance<br />
benefits for the active and retired members of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue located in South<br />
Florida. The <strong>Benefits</strong> Fund has been providing Self Insured medical, dental and prescription coverage<br />
for its participants for 28 years and is one of the oldest continuously operated Self Insured Funds in<br />
the nation.<br />
Rob Shestack is the Chairman and CEO of the Voluntary <strong>Benefits</strong> Association, the first national<br />
non-profit trade association focused on Voluntary <strong>Benefits</strong> for employer groups and affinity groups.<br />
Our goal is to promote the education, implementation and enrollment of Voluntary <strong>Benefits</strong> in the<br />
workplace. Rob previously worked at Marsh US Consumer as the Managing Director and National<br />
Sales Leader of <strong>Employer</strong> <strong>Benefits</strong> Business.<br />
Edward Shulkin is the President at GiftCard Partners and is an experienced gift card marketer with<br />
decades of experience in and around the retail industry. His senior management experience with<br />
major retail chains brings GCP an exceptional combination of mentorship, big picture thinking and<br />
detailed execution for the development of B2B gift card programs.
