Profiles of key figures from the postal and courier industry speaking at POST-EXPO 2012<br />
dr Nabil AbuElAta, president - CEO, Accretive Technologies Inc<br />
Dr Nabil AbuElAta is a Doctor of Mathematical Sciences. He is the founder of Accretive Technologies, a<br />
world authority in predictive management of dynamic complexity. His main interest is mathematical<br />
methods and dynamics of structures with a wide range of applications: celestial mechanics elementary<br />
particles and compound servicing. Nabil is the inventor of Model-Based Architecture methodology and<br />
X-Act Technology. He served the space and nuclear authorities and organisations then moved to the IT<br />
world, where he had a long career during which he contributed to the evolution of a large spectrum of<br />
technologies. He then moved to corporate responsibilities, where he became CTO of First Data Corporation<br />
until 2002.<br />

Ahmad Alanazi is a postal services professional with experience in quality management performance and<br />

michael J. Amato, vice president engineering systems, united States <strong>Post</strong>al<br />
Services<br />
Michael J. Amato was named vice president of Engineering Systems in May 2011. He reports to the chief<br />
information officer and executive vice president. In this role, Michael oversees engineering efforts focused<br />
on automation systems, including those for the organisation’s Automated <strong>Post</strong>al Centers and Integrated<br />
Retail Terminals. Additionally, he directs all engineering and acquisition support functions, including<br />
the design and development of new automation, and material handling systems. Since being hired as<br />
a maintenance mechanic in 1985, Amato has worked on numerous postal automation programmes<br />
specialising in letter mail automation and computer systems.<br />
Heechul Bae, senior research engineer, Electronics and Telecommunications<br />
research Institute (ETrI)<br />
Heechul Bae is a senior member of the <strong>Post</strong>al & Logistics Technology Research Department at the<br />
Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Daejeon, Korea. He received an MSc in<br />
Industrial Engineering from Pusan National University Korea in 2005. His research interests include SCM and<br />
system analysis and design for Korea <strong>Post</strong>.<br />
Stefan Berndt, product manager Sortation, Pitney Bowes<br />
Stefan Berndt has worked for Pitney Bowes since 2003, providing sorting solutions to the postal market.<br />
Based in Germany, he works closely with alternative posts and also national postal providers to establish<br />
value-added service solutions in the growing market. He is currently European product manager for<br />
sortation solutions.<br />
dato Khalid bin Abdol rahman, CEO, malaysia <strong>Post</strong><br />
Dato Khalid bin Abdol Rahman was appointed group chief executive officer of Pos Malaysia on 1 January<br />
2012. He has a wealth of experience in various fields including leasing merchant banking and finance. Prior<br />
to joining Pos Malaysia Dato’ Khalid held various positions in the DRB Conglomerate from 1997 to 2011. He<br />
was the group general manager Corporate Planning and Business Development of Tradewinds Corporation<br />
from 1997 to 2006. In August 2006 he joined DRB-Hicom Group as senior general manager Planning, and<br />
was subsequently appointed group director Corporate Planning in August 2009.<br />
Søren Boll, vice president of Sales, Syslore Ltd<br />
As vice president of Sales Søren is responsible for heading Syslore’s worldwide sales efforts within the postal<br />
industry. He has a long sales and services management experience in the postal industry, including postal<br />
parcel and logistics businesses. Søren is a Dane based in Syslore’s office in Denmark.<br />
Jean-Baptiste Boneu, business development manager, Greenovia<br />
Jean-Baptiste Boneu is the business development manager of Greenovia, the advisory subsidiary of the<br />
French mail group La <strong>Post</strong>e dedicated to environmentally friendly transport and mobility. Greenovia’s<br />
mission is to assist public and private actors in the challenging transition towards sustainable mobility.<br />
Before joining Greenovia Jean-Baptiste worked as a senior consultant in the Climate Change and<br />
Sustainability Services of Ernst & Young in Paris, and as a Sustainable Responsible Investment (SRI) analyst<br />
in an asset management company. He graduated from ESCP Europe and from the Indian Institute of<br />
Management Lucknow. Through the numerous projects he participated in with both private and public<br />
entities, Jean-Baptiste has gained in-depth expertise in sustainability, climate change strategy and<br />
especially in sustainable transportation, electric vehicles and infrastructure.<br />
rafal Brzoska, CEO, In<strong>Post</strong><br />
Rafal Brzoska is the founder and a co-owner of the Integer.pl Group companies, which he has been<br />
developing from the very beginning of their activity. He has built a nationwide unaddressed and addressed<br />
mail distribution network, which has achieved the leading position on the Polish distribution market. In<strong>Post</strong><br />
was awarded a World Mail Award for Growth in 2010 and World Mail Award for e-commerce and Innovation<br />
in 2011. Rafal is an experienced manager specialising in emerging markets with high growth potential. The<br />
group successfully debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange on 30 October 2007 and achieves over 850%<br />
ROI. Rafal is a graduate of the Management and Marketing Faculty at Cracow University of Economics.<br />
