the environment and education. The Centre offers a peaceful,<br />
stimulating environment for professional and personal development<br />
for residential and non-residential stays and can accommodate up<br />
to 46 residents, and up to 100 people for daytime use, in a variety of<br />
historically interesting buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens and<br />
wild spaces.<br />
Dance Base, <strong>Scotland</strong>’s National Centre for Dance, Grassmarket,<br />
Edinburgh<br />
As <strong>Scotland</strong>’s National Centre for Dance, Dance Base offers a focal<br />
point to reach out and inspire well-being and creativity in dance for<br />
local, national and international communities.<br />
Dance Base operates three artistic programmes: a public class<br />
programme in over 40 different forms of dance throughout the year, a<br />
support programme promoting professional dancers through classes,<br />
workshops, performance opportunities, and an outreach programme<br />
taking dance in a therapeutic capacity to those unable to come into<br />
Dance Base - including those in schools, nurseries, sheltered housing<br />
units, hospitals, adult training centres and probation centres.<br />
The Eden Project, Cornwall.<br />
The Eden project was created with an £80 million initiative to build<br />
three transparent biomes (geodesic domes designed by Nicholas<br />
Grimshaw) in an old china clay pit at Boldeva. The biomes contain<br />
different eco-climates loosely based on the different climates found<br />
throughout the world - tropical jungle, temperate, and desert.<br />
The Eden Project is a not-for-profit charitable Trust. Its mission is to<br />
promote the understanding and responsible management of the vital<br />
relationship between plants, people and resources leading towards a<br />

The Banff Centre is a globally respected arts, cultural, and<br />
educational institution and conference facility. It is located in Banff<br />
National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The spectacular<br />
