Autopista de la Información
La Autopista de la Información es
una red de telecomunicaciones de
banda ancha, que permite la conexión
de todas las instituciones y
ciudadanos de la Provincia de San
Luis, con el objetivo de transmitir
información en diferentes formatos
(telefonía, datos, videos, etc.).
Es decir, la AUI es una plataforma
tecnológica de telecomunicaciones
y servicios de acceso común
por donde circula una gran cantidad
de información.

red tiene un Data Center, que es el
centro neurálgico o “cerebro”. En él
se concentra y distribuye la información
y se centraliza el alojamiento

Gobierno de la Provincia.
La Autopista está compuesta por
una red de enlaces y nodos ordenados
de tal manera que permiten
la comunicación a distancia. Los

The Information Highway
The Information Highway is a broadband
telecommunications network that allows
the connection of the totality of institutions
and citizens of the province of San Luis, with
the purpose of transmitting information in
different formats (telephone, data, video,
etc.). The AUI is a technological platform for
telecommunications and common services,
through which a very large amount of information
flows.
The Highway is composed by a network of
links and nodes set up in such a way that
they allow communication over long distances.
Data can travel from one part of the
network to another, going through multiple
links and several nodes. This network has a
Data Center, which is the nerve center or the
“brain”. There, all the information is concentrated
and distributed, and the storage and
the monitoring are centralized, as well as all
the information technology systems used by
the Provincial Government.
