Car seats are very important to the safety and health of your baby. Your baby must
ride in an approved car seat. The State of Missouri has a Child Restraint Law for
children under (4) years of age.
Seats, high chairs and swings have safety straps provided. Use them to protect from
falls.
Babies should not sleep on waterbeds, sheepskins or pillows.
Babies should sleep in a crib or bassinet alone, not with a sibling or adult.
quemaduras.
Turn your hot water heater to 120º F to prevent your baby from getting burned.
Have a smoke alarm on every level of your house. Test your batteries when you set
the clocks in the spring and fall.
9. Los andadores para bebés no son seguros. No compre o utilice andadores.
Infant walkers are not safe for babies. Do not buy or use infant walkers.
Always hold your baby to feed him or her. Formula does not stop coming out of the
bottle when your baby stops sucking, so babies choke and may get formula in their
lungs if the bottle is propped.
