Answering Calls1. Make sure your phone is on. If your phone is off, incoming calls go <strong>to</strong>voicemail.2. When a call comes in, answer the call by pressing T. Dependingon your settings, your PCS Phone notifies you of incoming calls in thefollowing ways: The phone rings and/or vibrates. The LED flashes. The backlight illuminates. The screen displays an incoming call message and animation. If available, the phone number of the caller is displayed. If the phone number is in your Internal Phone Book, the Phone Bookentry’s name is displayed.You can perform the following when you have an incoming call. Press T <strong>to</strong> answer incoming calls. Press E <strong>to</strong> put the caller on hold. Move the cursor key upward or downward <strong>to</strong> change the ringer volume. Press E twice very quickly <strong>to</strong> cancel the call.Depending on your settings, you may also answer incoming calls bypressing any digit. (To answer a call when you are roaming and CallGuard is enabled, you must press OK <strong>to</strong> answer the call. See“Controlling Roaming Charges Using Call Guard” on page 59.)Note: If your phone is off, incoming calls go <strong>to</strong> voicemail.3.
