Maintenance<br />

• Explain to the skier that the ski binding<br />

should be kept clean and free of dirt,<br />

rust, salt or other contaminants.<br />

• Recommend that the complete function<br />

unit ski / ski binding / ski boot have to<br />

be brought to a DYNAFIT authorized<br />

retailer for inspection prior to the<br />

beginning of each ski season.<br />

5.2 Skier signature<br />

• The skier must read, understand and<br />

agree to the conditions specified in the<br />

workshop form and / or any release<br />

agreement.<br />

• Make sure that the skier signs the<br />

workshop form and / or the release<br />

agreement. If the skier is a minor, this<br />

document should be signed by a<br />

parent or a legal guardian.<br />

• A copy of the signed documents has to<br />

be handed to the customer.<br />

Important: The skier should understand<br />

that there are inherent and other risks<br />

in the sport of skiing. Explain that the<br />

ski binding will not release under all<br />

circumstances nor is it possible to predict<br />

every situation in which it will<br />

release and is, therefore, no guarantee<br />

of his or her safety.<br />

6. Warranty<br />

DYNAFIT’s warranty is extended to the<br />

customer through the DYNAFIT authorized<br />

retailer. DYNAFIT requests that warranty<br />

claims or inquiries be processed by<br />

DYNAFIT retailers on behalf of their<br />

customers. In some instances, if a retail<br />

customer should contact DYNAFIT directly,<br />

DYNAFIT will process the claim or<br />

inquiriy. Defective product is defined as<br />

that product, component or part thereof<br />

which, due to material failure or defect in<br />

workmanship, no longer functions properly<br />

for it’s intended use. Final decisions<br />

regarding any claimed product defect will<br />

be made solely by a representative of<br />

DYNAFIT. DYNAFIT will, at its sole discretion,<br />

repair, replace or refund the purchase<br />

price of a defective retail binding for a<br />

period of two years (2 years).<br />

Damage caused by improper handling,<br />

non-observance of the instructions for<br />

use, non-qualified installation, improper<br />

adjustment, insufficient maintenance and<br />

servicing, skiing accidents, abuse of product<br />

or normal wear is not covered under<br />

warranty. All wearing parts such as base<br />

plates and cosmetics are exempt from<br />

warranty. DYNAFIT will not be liable for<br />

incidental or consequential damages of<br />

any nature unless such limitation is<br />

expressly prohibited by law in the applicable<br />

jurisdiction.<br />

All implied warranties are expressly<br />

disclaimed unless such disclaimer is prohibited<br />

by law. In that event, the duration<br />

of any implied warranties shall be concurrent<br />

with the period of express warranty<br />

stated herein.<br />
