Refuel using a funnel, but do not completely<br />

fill the tank.<br />

The tank's capacity is about 4 litres.<br />

! DANGER! Refuelling should be<br />

carried out in an open or well ventilated<br />

area with engine stopped. Always<br />

remember that petrol fumes are<br />

inflammable. DO NOT TAKE FLAMES<br />

TO THE TANK MOUTH TO VERIFY ITS<br />

CONTENTS AND DO NOT SMOKE<br />

WHEN REFUELLING.<br />

IMPORTANT Do not drip petrol onto the plastic parts to avoid ruining them. In<br />

the event of accidental leaks, rinse immediately with water.<br />

5.1.3 Tyre pressure<br />

Having the correct tyre pressure is essential for keeping<br />

the cutting deck horizontal and thus achieving uniform<br />

mowing.<br />

Unscrew the valve protection cap and connect the<br />

valves to a compressed air line with a gauge.<br />

Pressures are:<br />

FRONT 1.5 bar<br />

REAR 1.0 bar<br />

5.1.4 Fitting the protection at the exit<br />

(grass-catcher or stone-guard)<br />

! WARNING! Never use the machine without<br />

having fitted the exit protection!<br />

Lift the removable cover (1) and hook on the grasscatcher<br />

by inserting the two pivots (2) into the slots on<br />

the two supports (3).<br />

! WARNING! There is a micro-switch which<br />

stops the engine or prevents starting when the<br />

blade is engaged if either the grass-catcher or<br />
