die Fortführung und den Ruhmesgarant
für unsere Zucht haben, so
wie es sich sicher auch ein Walter
Martin oder ein Erich Oschler erträumt
haben. Diese Sehnsucht
behalten wir eifersüchtig für uns,
und nur selten entschlüpft uns ein
Wort darüber, während der Wurf
unter den Seufzern, dem Schwitzen
und den eifersüchtigen Blicken des
Züchters wächst, der Qualitäten
und Fehler zu entdecken beginnt.
Nachfolgend erlaube ich mir, mit
Ihnen, geschätzter Leser, die Erfahrungen
zu teilen, die ich in diesem
aufregenden Abenteuer der Auswahl
eines zukünftigen Zuchthundes
für meine Zucht gemacht habe.
Zehn Tage nach ihrer Geburt endet
bei den Welpen die Phase, die in
der Fachliteratur vegetativ genannt
wird, und es beginnt die neue
Übergangsphase. Ihre Größe hat
sich verdoppelt und ab 13 Tagen
beginnen sie, die Augen zu öffnen.
Noch hören sich nichts und hängen
halb im Schlaf an den Zitzen
ihrer Mutter, wobei sie um jede
Handbreit raufen. Das tun sie auch
später im Schauring oder in der
gezielten Zucht, wenn sie ihre genotypischen
und phänotypischen
Merkmale vererben. Sie sollten
stets daran denken, dass es unerlässlich
ist, dem Welpen zur Entwicklung
die Mutterwärme und eine
saubere Umgebung zu bieten,
damit er stark genug wird, um sich
selbst auf den Pfoten zu halten.
Danach, in der sogenannten Prägephase,
die ungefähr zwischen
dem 20. und 60. Tag liegt, werden
ourselves, not wanting to share it,
and only occasionally do we utter a
word about it, while among the
sighs, the nerves and the curious
looks of the breeder the litter starts
to grow, and the breeder identifies
the qualities and faults.
I would now like to share with you,
dear readers, my exciting experience
of choosing a future breed
dog for my breed.
Ten days after they are born, the
pups come out of the „vegetative“
state – as it is described by experts
– and a new transitional period
commences. By this time they have
doubled in size and from 13
days old they start to open their
eyes. They still can’t hear anything
at this age and hang off their mother’s
teats in a half sleepy state,
all the while fighting for every
inch. They also do this later on in
the show ring or in targeted breeding,
when they pass on the characteristics
that are typical of their
genes and phenes. You should always
remember that it is essential
to offer a pup the warmth of its
mother and a clean environment
for its development, so that it can
grow strong enough to stand up on
its paws alone.
After this, in the „shaping phase“,
which is the time from approx. 20
to 60 days, the mother’s influence
develops the sensory and neurolo-
que rarement qu’un mot nous
échappe à ce sujet alors que les
jeunes chiots grandissent sous les
regards envieux de leur éleveur
tantôt soupirant, tantôt suant, qui
commence à distinguer les qualités
et les défauts.
Je me permets, chers lecteurs, de
vous faire part ci-après des expériences
que j’ai vécues dans cette
aventure palpitante : la sélection
du futur chien pour mon élevage.
La phase dite végétative dans le
jargon scientifique prend fin après
dix jours chez les chiots et marque
le début d’une nouvelle phase
transitoire. Leur taille a doublé et à
partir du 13e jour, ils commencent
à ouvrir les yeux. Ils n’entendent
toujours pas et passent le plus
clair de leur temps accrochés à
moitié endormis aux mamelles de
leur mère tout en se chamaillant
pour le moindre centimètre. Ils
continuent à le faire plus tard sur
le terrain d’exposition ou dans le
cadre d’un élevage ciblé lorsqu’ils
transmettent leurs caractéristiques
génétiques et phénotypiques. Il
faut toujours garder à l’esprit que
les chiots ont besoin de la chaleur
maternelle et d’un environnement
propre pour devenir suffisamment
forts et tenir sur leurs pattes.
Ensuite, durant la phase appelée
imprégnation, qui dure entre le
20e et 60e jour, l’influence de la
mère sur le développement neurosensoriel
du chiot et la main de
l’éleveur sont enregistrés dans son
cerveau très performant. Il ne nous
reste maintenant plus qu’à expliquer
deux aspects, à savoir l’alimentation
et la sélection d’un chiot
gemidos, calor y miradas celosas
del criador, que comienza a ver
cualidades y defectos.
A continuación me permito compartir
con Usted amigo lector la experiencia
de haber transitado en
esta apasionante aventura de la
selección de un futuro reproductor
de mi criadero.
Los cachorros a los 10 días de nacidos
terminan la fase que define
la literatura como vegetativa e inician
la nueva fase de transición, su
tamaño se ha duplicado, a partir
de los 13 días comienzan a abrir
sus ojos, no oyen todavía y entre
dormidos y enganchados a las tetas
de su madre que se disputan
palmo a palmo, como lo harán en
la pista de exposiciones o en la
cría selectiva cuando trasmitan sus
características genotípicas y fenotípicas.
Recuerde siempre, que es
indispensable mantener el calor de
su madre y un ambiente limpio
donde el cachorro se desarrolle,
para darle la fortaleza que le permita
comenzar a sostenerse por si
mismo en pie.
Posteriormente en la fase denominada
de impregnación, aproximadamente
entre el 20avo. y 60avo.
días, la influencia de la madre en
su desarrollo sensorial y neurológico,
así como la mano del criador,
son guardadas en su receptivo cerebro.
Cabe aquí analizar dos
aspectos, el uno la alimentación y
el otro el escogitamiento del cachorro
para cría y exposición.
Bueno, comencemos con la alimentación
que nos servirá en la
crianza diaria, en el día a día. Así,
