• The supplemental Building Facility Technical Regulations are applicable at all times to maintenance<br />
standards, except when justified otherwise for technical reasons.<br />
• The maintenance supervisor should keep a copy of the preventive maintenance recommendations<br />
given below on file, making as many copies as nee<strong>de</strong>d for use.<br />
• According to the equipment’s operating needs, it is crucial to make a list of those elements<br />
that are nee<strong>de</strong>d to quickly resolve equipment faults. This list will serve to <strong>de</strong>termine the<br />
spare parts inventory nee<strong>de</strong>d to be able to perform repairs quickly.<br />
• A maintenance log should record each component serviced during maintenance, as well as<br />
activities performed or repairs ma<strong>de</strong>.<br />
• Maintenance staff must have access to a specific training programme.<br />
ENGLISH<br />
• Before starting maintenance operations on the unit, turn off the unit’s main switch. Electrical<br />

• Keep the following in mind when performing maintenance operations:<br />
9.1. WATER COILS<br />
• We recommend cleaning the coils once a year.<br />
• Don’t use abrasive cleaner.<br />
• Brush off the fins that need it.<br />
• Make sure that there is no leakage from pipework.<br />
• If the coils are not used, please drain the water to avoid damage.<br />

9.2. DRAINAGE SYSTEM<br />
• We recommend checking periodically the con<strong>de</strong>nsate drip tray and clean it.<br />
• We recommend checking the siphon.<br />
9.3. MOTORS<br />
• Check the power consumption has not increased.<br />
• Periodically check the electrical connections are making good contact; this will prevent<br />
breakdowns.<br />
• We recommend checking the fan mounting periodically.<br />
