« L’éducation des enfants commence à la maison. Il
faut parler aux enfants dans les familles et les orienter
sur le droit chemin. Le chemin du marché n’est pas le
bon chemin pour l’enfant. Il faut arrêter d’envoyer les
enfants pour vendre au marché. Les personnes âgées
restent des bibliothèques en Afrique et ont tout ce qu’il
faut pour indiquer le bon chemin aux enfants. »
« C’est contradictoire qu’un enfant ne puisse pas
être déclaré à la naissance. Il faut que les parents se
ressaisissent. Ces enfants qui n’ont pas été enregistrés
à la naissance ont en même temps perdu plusieurs
autres droits. Avant d’avoir des droits, il faut d’abord
exister. C’est l’enregistrement qui confère l’existence
qui va permettre d’accéder aux autres droits. Les
parents doivent donc comprendre que tout enfant non
enregistré est un enfant sacrifié » ;

“Child education begins in the home. We must speak
to children in families and guide them in the right way.
Running errants is not a good way for children to learn.
We must stop sending children to sell in the market. The
elderly in Africa are known to be ‘the libraries of Africa’
and have what it takes to direct our children into the
right direction.”
“It is absurd that a child cannot have its birth certificat.
Parents have to get their act together. These children
who are not registered at birth lose many other rights
in the process. In order to have rights, one must exist. It
is formal registration that confers the legal existence
required to access other rights. Parents must therefore
understand that any unregistered child is a sacrificed
child.”
