Forme arrotondate e superfici levigate caratterizzano il Sasso di Fiume; elemento
ripreso dall’uso storico dei ciottoli di fiume, largamente utilizzati in passato, sia per la
pavimentazione di strade e piazze che nell’edilizia rurale.
Rounded shapes and smooth surfaces are the characteristics of river stone; an element
which returns to the historical use of river cobblestones, used in the past for both paving
streets and squares and for the rural building.
Les formes sont ici arrondies, les surfaces polies pour rappeler les galets charriés par le
fleuve dont on faisait grand usage autrefois pour paver les routes, les places mais aussi pour
la construction en milieu rural.
Runde Formen und vom Wasser glatt geschliffene Oberflächen sind typisch für unsere
Flusssteine. Ein Material, das auf den seit Menschengedenken üblichen, breiten Einsatz
von Flusssteinen und Kieseln zurück geht, als Pflasterstein für Straßen und Plätze, aber
auch als Baustein für Bauernhäuser.
