olegario vazquez raña (Mex) and the ISSF Secretary general horst g. Schreiber,
(ger). Mr. gary Anderson (uSA), the president of uSA Shooting, Mr. luciano
rossi (ItA), the president of the Italian clay Shooting Federation FItAv, Sheikh
Salman S.S.h. Al Sabah (KuW), the president of the Asian Shooting confederation
and Mr. Medhat Wahdan (egy) were elected as ISSF vice-presidents.
Presidents, who will accompany Vázquez
Raña for the next four years, come from four
different continents – a true symbol of the
worldwide growth of sport shooting!
Thus, it is no coincidence that many of
the ISSF leaders mentioned the concept of a
joint effort in their acceptance speeches to
the delegates. Sports shooters must work intensively
for the further growth of their sport,
and, as the leaders unanimously declared,
must play together like a great orchestra.

7 Mr. graeme hudson of new Zeeland and derek
Ivy of great britain were awarded the ISSF blue
cross, the highest ISSF recognition on occasion
of the ISSF general Assembly in Munich,
germany.
