Champion closed the match in third with<br />

485.0 points after firing a frustrating 8.2 in a<br />

shoot-off against Yauhleuskaya. Not on the<br />

podium, but qualified for the next Games,<br />

2004 Olympic medallist Lenka Maruskova<br />

of Czech Republic placed in fourth with<br />

482.3 points. The 24-year old Czech shooter<br />

beat Mira Suhonen, 25 years old, who fired<br />

a couple of frustrating shots in the eighth<br />

ring, sliding down to fifth place with a total<br />

score of 482.3 points. This turned out to be<br />

an unlucky round for 2008 Olympic Champion<br />

Guo Wenjun, who lost the duel for the sixth<br />

and last Olympic Quota place. The 26-year<br />

old shooter, ranked first in the world in this<br />

event, shot neck and neck with her younger<br />

team-mate Su Yuling, eventually finishing<br />

Chinese athletes, in spite of being among the<br />
