a one-of-a-kind theatrical event that pays<br />
tribute to one of the most beloved figures in<br />
baseball, Roberto Clemente, on the 40th<br />
anniversary of his untimely passing.Teatro<br />
SEA, The RMM Group (The Rivera Mercado<br />
Marketing Group) and The Puerto Rican<br />
Traveling Theatre have joined forces to bring<br />
DC7 The Roberto Clemente Story back to<br />
the New York stage for a limited run. This<br />
award-winning bilingual musical follows the life and career of<br />
baseball legend Roberto Clemente, the first Hispanic player ever<br />
inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. The play follows Puerto<br />
Rican-born Clemente as he struggled against racism and he beat<br />
the odds to become a legend on and off the field. Clemente was a<br />
World Series MVP and a world-class humanitarian who lost his life<br />
in a plane crash en route to help earthquake victims in<br />
Nicaragua.Clemente's exciting story comes to life on stage thanks<br />
to amazing performances from a first-rate Latino cast that inclu<strong>de</strong>s<br />
Mo<strong>de</strong>sto Lacén, Lorraine Vélez, Dr. Manuel A. Morán, Josean Ortiz,<br />
Anthony Cotto, María <strong>de</strong>l Mar González, Omar Perez, Johanna<br />
Rodríguez, Xiomara Rodríguez and Fi<strong>de</strong>l Vicioso. The play was<br />
written and directed by Luis Caballero, whose credits inclu<strong>de</strong> La<br />
Lupe, La Gringa, El Olor De La Guayaba and more.<br />

DC7 The Roberto Clemente Story is running for eight weeks only at<br />
the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre, performances began Tuesday,<br />
February 14th and will be on Thursdays, Thursdays, Fridays and<br />
Saturdays at 8:00 PM and on Sundays at 3:00 PM. Tickets are<br />
