Lancement du processus d’élaboration
de son 3 ème plan stratégique quinquennal
Dans le cadre de la poursuite de la bonne gouvernance
en planification stratégique, l’OCADES
Caritas Burkina a procédé du 23 au 25 janvier 2018
au lancement du processus d’élaboration de son troisième
plan stratégique (PS3) quinquennal afin de mieux orienter
ses actions sur le terrain en s’adaptant au contexte national
et international en perpétuelle évolution.
ayant une expérience avérée en planification stratégique et
des personnes ressources avisées. Dans son mot de
bienvenue, le Secrétaire Général de l’OCADES Caritas
Burkina, l’Abbé Constantin Safanitié Sere, a situé le contexte
de l’atelier et a formulé ses vœux de plein succès audit
atelier. Les participants ont réalisé une auto-évaluation du
PS2 et ont jeté les bases pour l’élaboration du PS3.

Launch of the third 5-year strategic
plan development process
As part of the pursuit of good governance in strategic planning,
OCADES Caritas Burkina has proceeded, from 23 to 25 January
2018, to the launching of the process of developing its third
five-year strategic plan (PS3) to better guide its actions in the field
by adapting to the constantly evolving national and international
context.
A review workshop of the Second Strategic Plan (PS2) 2012-
2016, held in Ouagadougou, brought together some thirty
participants including officials and managers from the dioceses
with proven experience in strategic planning and informed
resource persons. In his welcoming remarks, the Secretary
general of OCADES Caritas Burkina, Fr Constantin Safanitié
Sere, explained the context for the workshop and expressed his

out a self-evaluation of the PS2 and laid the groundwork for the
development of the PS3.
Through a sharing of experiences and practices by the diocesan
executive secretariats of OCADES and the presentation of
emerging themes, the participants highlighted the strengths and
weaknesses of the PS2, apprehended the stakes and the major
challenges related to the current situation of the communities
of Burkina Faso and identified the prospects for a new strategic
plan.
At the end of the presentations and the group work, components
were selected by the participants to serve as basic elements
for defining priority actions, axes and strategic objectives.
With regard to the formulation of the new strategic Plan, a
drafting committee, consisting of a central Committee and three
sub-committees, was set up.
