Le parc Technopolitain<br />
Ce projet phare de la Technopole sera un réel atout économique<br />
pour le Pays de <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong>. Celui-ci a pu se créer<br />
grâce au partenariat et à la coopération avec de Rennes,<br />
il sera accompagné d’investissements majeurs pour les<br />
acteurs technologiques et de soutien aux projets de<br />
recherche et d’innovation des entreprises.<br />

Pour créer son projet de parc Technopolitain, <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong><br />
<strong>Agglomération</strong> a choisi de s’appuyer sur la Technopole<br />
Rennes Atalante, technopole de Rennes devenue par cette<br />
alliance la technopole de Rennes <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong>.<br />
Stratégique, cette orientation traduit le rapprochement<br />
entre Rennes et <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong> qui permet de valoriser la<br />
complémentarité des atouts des 2 agglomérations :<br />

Notoriété et image technologique, potentiel de<br />
recherche et de formation, pôles de compétence établis<br />
non éloignés des filières choisies pour <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong> et enfin<br />
expérience et reconnaissance de plus de 20 ans en accompagnement<br />
et animation de réseau au travers de Rennes<br />
Atalante.<br />
Pour <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong><br />
L’image et la notoriété internationale, le premier port<br />
régional de passagers riche de nombreuses liaisons quotidiennes<br />
avec la Grande Bretagne, la façade maritime et les<br />
ressources liées à la mer, le centre de congrès dont l’activité<br />
est fortement marquée par les évènements scientifiques.<br />
The main project: the Science & Technology Park<br />
This key project of Science & Technology Park will be a real economic asset<br />
for the Country of <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong>. This one was able to build up himself thanks<br />
to the partnership and to the cooperation with Rennes, it will be accompanied<br />
by major investments for the technological actors and support for the<br />
projects of research and innovation of companies.<br />
In setting up its Science & Technology Park, <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong> <strong>Agglomération</strong><br />
decided to seek the support of Rennes Atalante and the alliance has led to<br />
the creation of the Rennes <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong> Science & Technology Park.<br />
This was a strategic decision that reflects the increasingly close ties between<br />
Rennes and <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong>. It will maximise the complementary nature of the<br />
advantages of the two towns.<br />
Rennes<br />
The city is famous for its technology and expertise in imaging, great potential<br />
for research and training, established competitive clusters complementary<br />
from the sectors represented in <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong> and, finally, its experience<br />
and the recognition it has gained as a result of more than 20 years assisting<br />
and facilitating the network through Rennes Atalante.<br />
<strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong><br />
<strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Malo</strong> has its own image and international reputation. It is the region’s<br />
leading passenger terminal with numerous sailings to and from Great<br />
Britain every day, a seaboard and sea-related resources, and a conference<br />
centre that is already extensively used for scientific events.
