STRATHCLYDE SUPPORTED S<strong>COTRAIL</strong> SERVICES<br />
The local rail network in Strathclyde - the largest local<br />
rail network outwith London - is operated by ScotRail<br />
and fînancially supported by Strathclyde Passenger<br />
Transport Executive on behalf of StrathcLyde Régional<br />
Coundl under Section 20 of the 1968 Transport Act. A<br />
condition of this support is that the Executive détermines<br />
timetables and rares pertaining to thèse services. The<br />

AU stations are normally "open" - that is, there are no platform barrier ticket checks. Tickets are examined during<br />

DMUs operate with a Driver and a Guard; ail electric services operate under the Strathclyde Manning Agreement<br />
